Plan and usage
What a project runs on, how to see what is left, and where the invoices are.
Every project runs on a plan of its own. A project is where the messages happen, so a project is what a plan is bought for.
Where it lives
In the project's Settings, under Plan:
- Subscription is what the project is on now.
- Packages is where a plan is bought or changed, and where a top up is added.
- Billing holds the details that appear on the invoice.
- Invoices holds every invoice, to open or download.
What is being counted
A plan comes with an allowance. The Usage section of the project menu shows what has been used against it, and what is left.
If the allowance runs out before the period does, a top up adds more without changing the plan. Usage shows the plan and the top ups separately, so you can see which one is being spent.
An allowance belongs to the product it was bought for. A package for one product does not feed another, so buy against the product the project actually runs.
Trials
A new project can take a 7 day trial instead of paying, with no card. Take the trial code the Plan step offers, because it is the one that matches your product.
When the trial ends the project waits for a plan. Buy one from Packages and it opens again.
Paying
Card payments go through our payment page and come back to the app on their own. A bank transfer is paid by uploading the slip, and the project is opened once the transfer clears, which is a person at our end rather than a minute at yours.
