Tools

The 17 tools the MCP server offers, what each one answers, and the conventions they share.

Your assistant sees these tools, with their descriptions and arguments, as soon as it connects. You do not call them yourself: you ask a question, and the assistant picks the tools that answer it.

Every tool except whoami and list_projects takes a required project_slug and works on that one project. A slug is the short name in the project's address in Oleon Workspace, such as acme-store. An assistant that does not know it calls list_projects first.

Result shape

Tools answer with a single text block holding JSON. Most wrap their data with a _meta block describing it:

whoami returns its fields directly, without the wrapper. See Limits for every _meta field.

Lists

Every read tool that takes a project_slug also accepts limit, from 1 to 100, defaulting to 25. Filters are applied by the server, so asking for exactly the rows you need is faster and cheaper than fetching many and sorting through them in the conversation.
