Your team
Inviting people, what they can open, and what a seat is.
People are added to a project from its Settings, under Members. Invite by email, and they join when they accept.
Full or limited
Every member has one of two kinds of access:
- Full access to the project: every section its menu offers.
- Limited access: you choose the sections, one by one, when you invite them and at any time after.
Limited is not a lesser member, it is a smaller job. Somebody who only answers chats does not need billing, and somebody in finance does not need the inbox.
Access is per project. Being in the organization does not open a project's conversations, and an organization or enterprise owner does not silently inherit them either.
Seats
A member takes a seat, and seats come with your plan. If everyone is seated when you invite one more person, the invite asks you to add a seat first.
Guests are the exception. A guest is let into a project for a limited time and takes no seat, which is what the contractor who is here for a week should be. Guests are arranged with us rather than invited from this screen.
Changing your mind
Access can be edited later from the same list, and a change takes effect for that person straight away, including while they are looking at a page they can no longer open.
