MCP quickstart
Connect Claude to your workspace and ask your first question in about two minutes.
You need an Oleon Workspace account with access to at least one project, and an MCP client. This guide uses Claude; every other client is covered in Connect a client.
Add the server to your client
In claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Enter:

Leave the advanced settings empty. The server registers your client on its own.

/mcp, choose oleon and pick Authenticate.Add the server to

Approve the connection
Your client opens
oleon.ioin the browser. Sign in if you are asked to, check that the email shown is the account you want to connect, and press Connect.The browser hands you back to your client, which now holds a credential for your account. There is nothing to copy.
Ask a question
Start with something that shows what the assistant can reach:
Which Oleon projects can you see?It calls
whoamiand lists your projects by slug. Then ask about one of them:In acme-store, which orders are still new and have not been paid?
Name the project in your question. Every tool except whoami and list_projects works on one project at a time, so an assistant that has to guess will first spend a step finding out which one you mean.
