Do we need our own ads account?

Yes, your own, the way SMS uses your own gateway. You keep the account and the spend, and Oleon is where the ad is made and where the replies land.

How is this different from boosting a post?

Boosting gets you comments nobody reads. This gets a conversation that is assigned to somebody, answered, and attached to the customer record, and it tells you afterwards whether that customer bought anything.

When can we use it?

Not yet, and the honest reason is worth knowing: the hold-up is the platform's own review of the permissions this needs, not the work. The first piece, keeping the record of which ad started a conversation, needs no permission at all and comes first.
